"It's that time of year again, and Michael Myers has returned home to sleepy Haddonfield, Illinois to take care of some unfinished family business. Unleashing a trail of terror that only horror master Rob Zombie can, Myers will stop at nothing to bring closure to the secrets of his twisted past. But the town’s got an unlikely new hero, if they can only stay alive long enough to stop the unstoppable."
Like the first 'Halloween' Rob Zombie directed, this probably won't be as good as the original, but you have to give him some credit for at least trying to deepen the character and add an original story rather that just having exactly the same story. So for that reason, I quite want to see this movie. Really, what is the point of re-making something if it's exactly the same?? There's nothing worth watching for if everything is the same, because, somehow, even with exactly the same story, remakes always manage to be worse...might as well just watch the original! Of course, feel free to prove me wrong with an example of one that isn't ^^
