Events: Frighten Brighton, UK


If you love classic horror and are going to be in the Brighton area on August 11th, Frighten Brighton classic horror film festival is the place to be! Thought up and presented by the people that started the Classic Horror Campaign, Cyberschizoid and Scare Sarah, the event will take place from 12pm - 11pm at Komedia, Brighton and will feature several classic movie screenings plus celebrity guest Emily Booth!

"Expect spot prizes, merchandise and our very special guest; presenter of the Horror Channel and star of cult horror films Cradle of Fear and Evil Aliens, the lovely Emily Booth! Plus more excitingly ghoulish news to follow. 
So join us for the whole day or just the individual films, but whatever you do, be there and be scared!

Events & Movies: Brighton Shocks!

Brighton Shocks!

Great news for horror movie fans in the UK - the Caroline of Brunswick pub in Brighton will be hosting Brighton Shocks!, a season of extreme cinema, in March. Each night features a different film and starts at 8:30pm. The screenings are sure to be great fun for seasoned horror movie fans and newcomers to the genre alike and, even better, entry is absolutely free! Of course, due to the nature of the featured content, entry to all screenings is 18+.

Events: Brighton Beach of the Dead Zombie Parade


Halloween - a day filled with ghosts, ghouls and zombies, when the dead can walk the Earth...in BRIGHTON!  That is, when the undead (and a few costumed humans) take to the streets for Beach of the Dead, South East England's gory zombie parade! Whilst it is technically not on Halloween, since it takes place on October 30th, it still looks like a million bags of bloody brains-worth of fun!

Last year's lurching creeps are featured in the video above. Dare you join them for the fourth year of this wonderfully spooky event?!
